Mary & Tim's Backyard Wedding

3 . 9. 2019

And sure enough, it was. Through the generosity of a family friend, there wedding took place on the lawn of a spectacular home, full of lush green grass and citrus trees and some barnyard animals in the back. Their rustic country theme fit perfectly.

As their guests mingled, Mary got ready with her bridal party while Tim and his groomsmen chatted with arriving guest. When it came time for the ceremony, three young boys rang a large bell to announce the start. Tim walked arm in arm with his mother, Mary following shortly there after arm in arm with her mother and step father. With a friend as an officiant, their ceremony was quick and simple but most importantly, full of love.

I met Mary and Tim after speaking with Mary's mother who reached out to me looking for a photographer for her daughter's upcoming wedding. She had found my website and liked the way I captured candid photos and was looking for just that for her daughter. I told her I was happy to help and then went on to meet Mary and Tim. They were both very kind and spoke openly about how they wanted their wedding to be. It all sounded very fun and exciting.

With the exchanging of rings and a kiss, Mary and Tim were married. They excitedly walked down the aisle as husband and wife. After some family photos, we got to explore the property and even get some fun photos with the donkey. From there, the reception started and provided everyone with a lot of laughs. Speeches from best man, maid of honor and brother had me cracking up from behind the camera. And then it was time to party!

To Mary and Tim!
