Shelby & Logan's Backyard Wedding

12 . 22. 2018

As Shelby awaited the start of their wedding ceremony, I stayed with her and snapped a couple getting ready pictures and then bounced over to hang out with the guys. As the last few people came to take their seats, I stepped outside to prep for the ceremony. Logan and his groomsmen lined up and patiently waited for Shelby to walk down the aisle. As she did, everyone stood and Logan broke out into a huge smile seeing his soon to be wife for the first time in all her bridal glory.

With the promising of vows, exchanging of rings, and the combining of sand, they sealed their ceremony with a kiss and happily walked hand and hand as husband and wife for the first time. Thankfully, Shelby had thought ahead and planned and earlier ceremony, so we had plenty of time for family photos and patiently waited for the sun to grace us with its soft, sunset glow. And it was worth the wait! With stomachs full og good ol' southern comfort BBQ, Logan and Shelby shared their first dance, partook in the bouquet and garter toss and two stepped the night away .

Shelby and Logan tied the knot in the backyard of her grandparents ranch. Settled back from the road with a magnificent view of the mountains, they gathered together with friends and family and long-time neighbors. With a rustic theme, I arrived as last minute decoration touch ups and sound checks were being made. Sneaking away with the dress and her bridal best, I snapped some details to start off their day.

The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, laughter, lots of hugs and many memories.

To Shelby and Logan!
