Kaitlyn & Joshua's Starfire Wedding

12 . 09. 2018

As the day continued on, I snapped photos of her jewelry, shoes, dress and the decorations of their day. Everything was set to sparkle in just the right ways and everyone stunned as they dressed in their bridal attire and awaited the start of the ceremony. Joshua stood at the top of the aisle waiting for his queen to walk to him, and boy did she. Her pale blush wedding dress complimented her to a "T" and with her vail tossed lightly over her face, she beamed with joy as she walked toward him.

Standing together, with a heart made out of rose petals between them, Joshua's step father started off the wedding ceremony impersonating the Princess Bride priest to absolute perfection, making everyone, including the bride and groom, burst out laughing. I have to admit I had a smile on my face for the entire speech. After reading their vows to each other, Joshua lifted the vail from his fiancés face and kissed his bride. With cheers and some flying rose petals, they walked hand in hand as husband and wife.

Kaitlyn and Joshua's wedding was a day of adventure! On a chilly December morning I made my way to Starfire Golf Course to meet up with Kaitlyn and her bridesmaids. I entered the bridal suite where she sat with her eyes closed as her makeup artist smoothed over eyeshadow, her red hair stunning against the pale light of the suite. Atop her hair sat a rose gold crown that looked as if it were made specifically for her.

The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, laughter, lots of hugs and many memories.

To Kaitlyn and Joshua!
