Victoria and Cullen's Flagstaff Engagement
9 . 14. 2019
I met Victoria last year when she was searching for a wedding photographer and found me on the Knot. We met up for some coffee and got to know one another a bit better and then about a day later, they had decided that they wanted me to capture their wedding! Victoria and Cullen seemed like such a down to earth couple, so I couldn't have been happier!
Their wedding is taking place next November, so we've had plenty of time to plan everything out, and something I was super excited about was their engagement session up north!
We had been hoping for some of the aspen trees to have turned for fall, but alas, it was still wonderfully cold and beautiful for their sunrise session at Aspen Corner. We met up at about 5:30 in the morning and half way the mountain, it is pitch black and I realize I didn't bring a flashlight with me and we will have to hike a little ways into the woods to get to the opening we wanted. 🤦🏻♀️
Thankfully Cullen had thought of it and pulled out a spotlight flashlight for us to use! While we hiked in, Victoria and I chatted away getting to know one another a lot more. It was so quiet, and peaceful, I don't think we could have asked for a better morning.
When we got to the clearing, the sun didn't quite rise where I thought it would have, but there were some fluffy clouds in the sky that got singed pink with a glorious pale blue sky backing them. The grass was still a little green and some parts were changing due to the cold weather and were perfectly golden as the sun rose. It truly was magical!
We then ventured over to the aspen trees where Cullen and Victoria danced together and enjoyed some snuggle time.
These two will be tying the knot in November next year and I couldn't be happier for the two of them!
Here is to Victoria and Cullen and this wonderful adventure they are on together 🎉
